About the position

The Assistant Sales Manager Closer plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Manager in the operation of the sales gallery. This position involves scheduling Sales Executives, reviewing reports, assisting with closing sales, and generating new business. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for coaching and training the sales staff, managing team performance, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager with the operation of the sales gallery.
  • Schedule Sales Executives to meet customer flow.
  • Review weekly reports and disseminate information to the sales team.
  • Assist sales executives with closing sales.
  • Generate new business by coordinating with the marketing department.
  • Provide coaching and training on sales techniques to the sales staff.
  • Monitor guest experience and respond to customer concerns.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Work with marketing and management to develop strategies for increasing qualified traffic for sales presentations.
  • Support the development of self-generated business by working with the existing customer base.
  • Evaluate and analyze the book of business for generating more sales and referrals.
  • Close sales and manage the sales floor to ensure efficient guest tour flow.
  • Provide information to guests regarding vacation ownership and financing options.
  • Review and approve documentation for sales and notarize contracts.
  • Encourage a positive work environment and support team accomplishments.
  • Conduct regular sales management meetings to review performance and make action plans.
  • Mediate and resolve issues with subordinates and colleagues.
  • Schedule Sales Team to ensure adequate coverage of sales tours.
  • Monitor weekly and period-to-date reports and provide motivational messages to the sales team.
  • Assist in managing the Daily Sales Executive Tour Rotation.
  • Supervise the daily operational aspects of the Sales Gallery.
  • Respond to customer questions and complaints.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Contracts to relay important information.
  • Provide real-time coaching and consultation to Sales Executives.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews with Sales Executives to review goals and progress.
  • Assist in onboarding new Sales Executives and ensuring proficiency in the sales process.
  • Conduct training sessions for Sales Executives and facilitate feedback sessions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language may be required for certain positions.
  • Active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
