About the position

The Assistant Sales Manager at AMINCO INTERNATIONAL (USA) INC is a full-time role focused on supporting the National Sales Manager and the sales team in the licensed sports industry. The position requires a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to generate leads and close deals. The ideal candidate will be involved in planning sales strategies, conducting market research, and attending networking events and trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Sales Manager in all aspects of planning effective sales strategies.
  • Following up with project managers and coordinating project requests.
  • Meeting the sales targets and goals efficiently.
  • Building relationships with old and existing customers.
  • Attending and directing meetings with the sales team.
  • Monitoring the performance of the sales staff.
  • Conducting market research.
  • Prospecting, negotiating, closing, and reporting sales.
  • Addressing customer's issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Creating professional presentations, proposals, and reports for prospects and customers.
  • Planning and executing sales campaigns to grow market share, including analyzing data, developing strategies, and identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Researching and qualifying potential customers, and determining their needs and level of interest in products and services.
  • Executing sales strategies to increase client base and market share, including cold calling, planning client visits, building relationships, and maintaining prospect databases.
  • Coordinating with other departments on a daily basis to ensure product and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • 3 years or more in customer service.
  • Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in training development and staff mentoring.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
