About the position

The Area Assistant Sales Manager will play a crucial role in the Southwest Florida region, focusing on the development and management of key commercial accounts. This position aims to enhance relationships and drive market strategies to increase profitability and organizational presence in the heavy commercial segment. The role involves collaboration with sales teams and participation in industry associations to promote the organization and its products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key account reporting structure for the region, tracking progress and goals.
  • Collaborate with the regional Sales Manager on key account strategy.
  • Assist with backlog management to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor sales team members on key customer acquisition strategies and follow-up.
  • Monitor and assess large project performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve underperforming projects through effective communication with customers and operations.
  • Enhance commercial strategies surrounding block sales through coordination with block logistics management.

Requirements

  • At least five years of successful sales and business development experience in the concrete Ready-Mix industry.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Experience in market analytics and planning.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial potential.
  • Proven ability to be innovative and creative.
