About the position

The Assistant Sales Operations Manager at Leaf Home plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Operations Manager in managing and expanding the assigned territory. This position focuses on leading independent direct seller sales representatives, ensuring effective sales processes, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through collaboration with the Installation team. The role involves training, performance analysis, and direct sales consultations, contributing to the overall success of Leaf Home's mission to simplify homeownership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training direct sales representatives to meet established market goals.
  • Lead in-depth training programs for newly onboarded sales representatives and refresher training for tenured sales representatives.
  • Administratively responsible for lead resulting and reporting.
  • Routinely review sales performance reports to identify areas of improvement and opportunity for assigned team and territory.
  • Provide customer and sales support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Work closely with the Installation department to ensure accurate sales orders and timely installation.
  • Perform ride-alongs to provide training for new representatives and coaching for existing representatives.
  • Complete in-home sales consultations with potential customers based on lead volume and staffing velocity.
  • May lead local marketing and canvassing programs to generate additional customer leads as necessary to meet established goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a direct sales role or equivalent.
  • Experience in generating performance reports from a CRM system and identifying key trends and insights.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift attention to meet the demands of different stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on task completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas and solve complex problems.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
