The Sales Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of sales strategies by performing general sales and operational activities. This includes follow-up and customer service to maintain optimal relationships with customers and support the brand(s) and business effectively. In this role, the Sales Operations Assistant will develop and maintain tracking sheets to monitor and analyze customer orders daily, manage ticketing information, and suggest potential actions for operational efficiency. The position requires procuring reports from systems like SAP and IBT for cross-functional teams, coordinating internal and external meetings, and developing tracking sheets to analyze sales by style and customer. The assistant will also track and update the status of purchase orders, shipments, inventories, and accept, input, track, and follow up on orders in the system. Additionally, the Sales Operations Assistant will coordinate the preparation of the showroom for market, manage current and past season samples, and contribute to creating presentations and line sheets for market. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage complex daily calendars, and a problem-solving mentality. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing schedules, contributing positively to the team dynamic and managing up where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of sales strategies by performing general sales and operational activities.
  • Develop and maintain tracking sheets to monitor and analyze customer orders on a daily basis.
  • Manage ticketing information and suggest potential actions for operational efficiency.
  • Procure reports from SAP, IBT, etc. for cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including details such as invites, agendas, and room arrangements.
  • Analyze customer purchase histories and current sales records to identify sales trends and suggest potential actions to account executives.
  • Track and update the status of purchase orders, shipments, inventories, and ATS.
  • Accept, input, track, and follow up on orders in the system.
  • Coordinate preparation of the showroom for market and manage current and past season samples.
  • Contribute to and create presentations and line sheets for market by classification, materials, colors, and deliveries.
  • Assist with general duties including team expenses and supplies.
  • Coordinate with colleagues in Production, Operations, Imports, and Shipping to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the apparel or accessory industry is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales/administrative capacity.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, meeting planning coordination, and project management skills.
  • Organized, independent, self-motivated with a problem-solving mentality.
  • Professional demeanor and team player attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to constantly changing schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with sales analysis and reporting tools.
