As an Assistant Scientist in the Vaccines department at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in conducting laboratory procedures that contribute to the development of life-changing therapies. In your daily responsibilities, you will train on the operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines. You will also be responsible for reviewing and compiling results, comparing data against SOP acceptance criteria, and ensuring that all laboratory documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your ability to communicate project status effectively to project leaders and maintain a detailed laboratory notebook will be essential for success in this role. The position requires excellent manual dexterity, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while working on multiple projects. You will be expected to perform self and peer reviews of data for accuracy and compliance before submission to Quality Assurance (QA) and issuance to customers.
