The ASM is responsible for customer interactions, resolving issues, assisting with personnel functions, and monitoring performance indicators to ensure a high-quality service experience.

Responsibilities

• Increase overall service satisfaction and service department profitability.
• Coordinate efficient and timely processes for Service Advisors and office staff.
• Greet customers in the service drive and direct them appropriately.
• Assist with customer walk arounds and resolve customer issues and complaints.
• Fill in for absent service advisors and assist in writing up customers during busy times.
• Provide backup to bookers and schedulers in the service office as needed.
• Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained and monitor employee schedules.
• Coach and counsel employees on job performance and provide feedback.
• Receive and research information from the Warranty Administrator regarding claims.
• Monitor performance indicators for advisors and assist with payroll as necessary.
• Participate in daily service department huddles and ensure facility cleanliness.

Requirements

• 5 plus years of automotive service experience.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
