About the position

The Assistant Service Manager at Lithia & Driveway plays a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager by overseeing service-related staff and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position focuses on training and developing team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Service Manager in directing service-related staff activities.
  • Train, develop, and mentor Service Advisors and technical staff.
  • Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Inspect repair orders daily for legibility, accuracy, and legality.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Manage administration, tracking, and follow-up on warranty, receivables, and service contracts.

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Dealership Service department experience.
  • Excellent teaching, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and computer use.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
