About the position

The Assistant Shop Leader at Floyd's Barbershop is a leadership role that combines hands-on barbering with team management. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a welcoming environment and building strong teams. The Assistant Shop Leader will work closely with the Shop Leader to maintain high standards and support the team while providing an exceptional experience to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amplified experience to all clients
• Partner with Shop Leader to maintain high standards and support the team
• Be a positive representation of the Floyd's Barbershop brand
• Ongoing support of Barbers and Stylists to build their business
• Cultivate an environment where education and improvement is encouraged
• Active participation in recruiting efforts
• Communication of company updates to the team
• Month End, Inventory, and Purchase Order management

Requirements

• 3+ years behind a chair as a Barber or Stylist in a fast-paced environment
• 1+ year of Management experience
• Passion for building and promoting a culture of service and teamwork
• Active Cosmetology or Barber license in the state of employment
• Full time availability
