About the position

The Assistant Showroom Manager at Lovesac is responsible for driving sales results and creating a unique customer experience in the showroom. This role involves assisting the Store Manager in training staff, managing operations, merchandising, inventory control, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Showroom Manager plays a key role in meeting sales goals and maintaining the store's operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed all sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in training the store team to achieve financial goals through the execution of Lovesac's selling process.
  • Resolve customer issues in collaboration with the Store Manager and follow up on order tracking.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and protect company assets.
  • Direct the execution of promotional campaigns and ensure proper product placement.
  • Ensure store merchandising standards are maintained according to company policies.
  • Process POS transactions accurately and provide information to clients.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally.
  • Model behavior that respects employees, peers, and customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related sales and management experience.
  • Strong product knowledge to drive sales results.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and the store team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting or exceeding KPIs.
  • Proven time management skills and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and solve problems effectively.
  • Accountability and responsibility for actions taken.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail management or sales leadership.
