About the position

The Assistant, Sr. Executive at The Toro Company plays a crucial role in providing executive-level administrative support to the Vice President of ISC. This position involves managing schedules, coordinating projects, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. The role is designed for individuals who are proactive, organized, and capable of handling a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for the VP, ISC including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, booking travel arrangements, and handling confidential correspondence.
  • Manage projects and events as assigned, conducting research and supporting initiatives across the ISC suite.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, PowerPoint slides, handouts, and spreadsheets to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Compile data from various resources, analyze it, and prepare monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and implement systems for managing information, projects, and communications, recommending process improvements.
  • Schedule and coordinate preparation activities for the ISC throughout the year.
  • Interact professionally with employees, board members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage and submit expense reports.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants to establish best practices and provide training when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of administrative support experience with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write reports and speak effectively before groups.
  • Demonstrated confidence and presence in interactions with executive leadership and board members.
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize a diverse workload under pressure.
