Responsibilities

  • Conduct cell culture and mouse xenograft implantation.
  • Handle rodents and perform macroscopic fluorescence imaging and tissue resections.
  • Utilize scanning fluorescence microscopy and perform image analysis.
  • Attend and present at lab meetings, contributing to publications as requested.
  • Assist in writing figures and data for publications and funding applications.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-doctoral or equivalent work experience.
  • PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a related field with emphasis on imaging, bioengineering, or translational research.
  • Strong experience in molecular imaging, particularly in fluorescence-guided surgery applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with molecular imaging technologies and development or use of contrast agents.
  • Ability to design and implement experimental protocols involving animal models, cell culture, and imaging.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation, manuscript preparation, and data presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a research setting.
