The Madison County State's Attorney's Office has multiple openings for full-time Assistant State's Attorneys to prosecute serious, felony offenses. The position requires a minimum of 4 years' experience as a litigation attorney, with a preference for candidates who have senior felony prosecution or defense experience, particularly in prosecuting violent crimes. Exceptional communication, research, and writing skills are essential. Candidates must be licensed attorneys within the State of Illinois at the time of application or provide evidence of eligibility for admission via reciprocity. A pending Motion for Admission by Reciprocity is strongly preferred. The salary range for this position is $78,000-$105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and abilities.
