The Assistant Store Leader of Guest Engagement at Altar'd State plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leader to achieve store goals, focusing on guest service, sales, and associate engagement. This position emphasizes relationship building with guests, maintaining a clean store environment, and developing associates to enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Store Leader in achieving store goals including guest service and sales objectives.
- Provide exceptional service to guests through relationship building and product knowledge.
- Foster a guest-focused team environment and anticipate guest needs.
- Role-model company service standards to achieve excellent guest service.
- Provide timely feedback to associates and recognize performance to drive retention.
- Hold self and associates accountable for financial results and performance standards.
- Manage conflict and coach associates using company guidelines.
- Empower associates in decision-making processes and foster dialogue around solutions.
- Develop associates through individualized approaches and delegate tasks effectively.
- Lead by managing through change and adversity, making recommendations on hiring and promotions.
- Co-facilitate sales associate and keyholder training.
- Engage guests to make their shopping experience exceptional and manage the fitting room experience.
- Manage product communication and ensure all product information is posted accurately.
- Lead new associate onboarding and co-manage payroll and store financial performance.
- Make decisions regarding store operations and planning, adhering to loss prevention practices.
Requirements
- 1 year of Retail Management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
