About the position

The Assistant Store Leader Trainee role is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience. This full-time position focuses on providing valuable management and leadership experience while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and maintaining product availability.

Requirements

• Ability to oversee customer service leadership and training for store employees.
• Demonstrated strength in maintaining high employee retention.
• Competency in cash handling and fuel transactions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, or at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver's License and automotive liability insurance.
