About the position

As the Assistant Store Manager at our Westport location, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager, referred to as the Captain, in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to embody the brand's philosophy of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" while driving sales and profitability. You will be instrumental in guiding the store team to meet and exceed financial goals, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to service and quality. In this role, you will actively seek opportunities to enhance store performance by analyzing market trends and competitor activities. You will also be responsible for implementing in-store events and initiatives from our headquarters, ensuring that our team is aligned with the brand's vision and objectives. Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive customer experience, where you will educate both crew members and customers about our products and brand initiatives. You will maintain a fun, engaging, and professional store environment, focusing on crew development through training and mentorship. This includes creating schedules that support customer service excellence, conducting team meetings, and recognizing outstanding crew performance. Your operational responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with company standards and federal laws, enhancing store efficiency, and managing merchandise controls. You will also play a vital role in merchandising, ensuring that our store reflects current brand initiatives and meets local customer needs. Requirements

  • 9+ months as Assistant Manager in a similar volume type business.
  • 1-2 years of retail experience.
