About the position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Banter by Piercing Pagoda, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and dynamic retail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Store Manager in maintaining a daily focus on achieving individual and team standards, which are essential for meeting sales and profit projections. You will contribute to creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. This role involves developing the skills and product knowledge of team members through effective training and evaluation, as well as participating in the recruitment and selection process for new team members. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with following and enforcing all company policies and procedures, ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will be vital in motivating the team to excel and in maintaining high standards of performance. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
  • Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of team members.
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform operational and strategic duties as required.

Requirements

  • At least one year of retail experience, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
  • Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
  • Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
