About the position
The Assistant Store Manager at Jeremiah's Italian Ice is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all operational aspects of the store. This role involves managing a team, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring high-quality service to guests. The position requires a strategic approach to building the brand within the community and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with all operational aspects of the store including P&L, labor, budget, cleaning, ordering, inventory, and product quality.
- Manage a staff of 15-25 employees.
- Build the brand in the community using local store marketing techniques.
- Increase sales.
- Provide all guests with five-star service.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk around small spaces, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift overhead.
- Ability to work on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Ability to work a schedule in excess of 45 hours per week including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
