About the position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Extra Space Storage, you will play a vital role in our diverse team, contributing to an excellent company culture that prioritizes employee satisfaction and growth. We are looking for reliable individuals who are good communicators and have a passion for helping people. In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, meeting sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies. You will guide new customers through the rental processes and agreements, ensuring they have a seamless experience. Additionally, maintaining the facilities will be part of your daily tasks, which may include sweeping, mopping, and changing light bulbs. You will work independently on daily tasks while also collaborating with team members to achieve common goals. There may be occasions where you will need to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations, making a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
