About the position

The Assistant Store Manager for a 7-Eleven Franchisee is responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional store experience for guests. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including staffing, training, vendor relations, and inventory management, while maximizing sales and profits.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet the needs of guests
  • Recruit, train and develop staff
  • Develop strong vendor relations
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and merchandised store
  • Promote 7-Eleven to guests and the community
  • Maximize sales and profits
  • Identify and resolve sales obstacles
  • Manage and maintain proper inventory levels and controls

Requirements

  • Retail/Food Service experience is a plus
  • Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
