Assistant Teacher Child Care/Early Childhood Education

About the position

We are looking for assistant teachers to join our team today to work in all of our age groups from Pre K to infants. We have one full time position as well as part time positions. Part time positions require you to be available at least three of the days during the week for at least 3-4 hours in the afternoon until 530pm. The full time position shift is 830am to 530pm. Responsibilities

• Work with children in all age groups from Pre K to infants
• Ensure child safety and facilitate programs
• Maintain classroom ratios and provide resources for success
• Lift and handle children as necessary, including infants

Requirements

• High school diploma required for the full time position
• Experience working with children under the age of 5 in a large group environment
• Dependable and adaptable with a common goal mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in connection with handling children

Nice-to-haves

• Post high school education is a plus
