About the position
The Assistant Teacher position at Brooklyn Click and Connect involves supporting students in afterschool LEGO activities, helping them with problem-solving and creativity. The role is part-time, primarily during weekdays, with additional opportunities for weekend birthday parties and school break camps.
Responsibilities
- Pick up students from a local school and bring them to the class.
- Provide support to help students with project planning, LEGO building, communication with peers, and problem solving.
- Assist with materials distribution and organization.
- Work with the owner/lead teacher to plan engaging activities and themes.
- Must be available to work on Mondays-Thursdays, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Experience working with elementary aged children.
- Experience/interest in LEGO is a bonus but not required.
