This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are team players, capable of managing a learning environment, and can create engaging activities and lessons that foster children's development. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to prepare activities based on children's ideas and interests, and possess the skills to manage conflicts effectively. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the learning objectives of children and the creation and management of various learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for children to develop to their fullest potential. Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a variety of learning environments and activities for children.
  • Prepare activities based on children's ideas and interests.
  • Manage conflicts effectively within the learning environment.
  • Foster children's development through engaging lessons and activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Interest in childcare and/or currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education related courses.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
  • CPR & First Aid certification required.
  • Health Examination including TB test.
  • Up to date Immunizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with children in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to create fun and engaging lesson plans.
