About the position

As an Assistant Teacher at Children of America (COA), you will play a vital role in executing our curriculum and supporting the Lead Teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood education. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about working with preschool children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, and who thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be part of a talented team of educators, where your unique attributes, perspectives, and backgrounds will contribute to a stronger team dynamic. Our programs include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp, providing a diverse range of learning experiences for children. In this role, you will interact daily with the Lead Teacher, children, parents, management team, and fellow teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include directly supporting the Lead Teacher in carrying out daily lessons, communicating professionally with parents and staff, and ensuring a safe and structured learning environment. You will also be encouraged to grow into a Lead Teacher role, showcasing your commitment to professional development and effective decision-making. Responsibilities

  • Directly support Lead Teacher in carrying out daily lessons.
  • Willingness to grow into Lead Teacher roles.

  • Utilize technology to deliver child progress updates.
  • Ensure a safe and structured learning environment.
