In this position, you will partner closely with teachers to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow. You will support teachers in implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, adapting your approach to the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children. Safety is a top priority, and you will always ensure a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Communication with families is key, and you will support teachers in regularly updating parents on their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a mix of mobile apps and in-person discussions. Collaboration with center staff and leadership is essential to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals. Building warm relationships with families and colleagues will foster an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with teachers to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
  • Support teachers in implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for various age groups.
  • Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones.
  • Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Cultivate warm relationships with families and colleagues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, and required health and safety training.
  • Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to ensure children are safe and their everyday needs are met.

Nice-to-haves
