Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to ensure the successful operation of the classroom.
  • Implement effective teaching practices based on the CLASS™ framework.
  • Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5 years.
  • Conduct child assessments to monitor development and learning progress.
  • Meet the diverse needs of all children in the classroom.
  • Work closely with families to support their children's growth and development.
  • Engage in professional growth and collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Commitment and passion to work with children.
  • CDA credential or enrolled to complete the CDA within one year of hire.
  • Enrolled in a program leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree.
  • Strong communication and written skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in early childhood education programs.
  • Familiarity with child assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development for preschool-aged children.
