The Assistant Tennis Coach at Episcopal High School is a part-time, seasonal role focused on mentoring student-athletes during the spring tennis season. The coach will assist the Head Coach in planning practices, providing individualized instruction, and promoting a positive team culture. Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with planning and leading tennis practices.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help players improve their skills and understanding of the game.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.
• Assist with match preparation, lineup decisions, and on-court coaching during competitions.
• Ensure student-athletes adhere to safety protocols and school policies.
• Attend all scheduled practices, matches, and team events.

Requirements

• Previous tennis playing and/or coaching experience is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and parents.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes.
• Availability for the full season, including practices and matches.

Benefits

• Compensation of $5,000-$6,000 paid as a salary over the season.
