As an Assistant to the Financial Advisor at Cathay Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Advisor (FA) with a variety of administrative tasks. This position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for providing sales, processing, operational, administrative, and customer service support to the Financial Advisor. Your duties will include coordinating activities, making travel arrangements, scheduling conferences and meetings, managing the Financial Advisor's calendar, and assisting with various projects as assigned. You will act as a liaison between clients, the Financial Advisor, and the back office, ensuring smooth communication and operations. In this role, you will be expected to answer telephone calls, screen and delegate calls appropriately, and provide assistance to callers whenever possible. You will manage the Financial Advisor's calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange customer seminars and training sessions for branch employees. Additionally, you will assist in preparing presentation materials and support the Financial Advisor during business-related functions. Your responsibilities will also include preparing requested reports, processing documents, opening client accounts, and uploading necessary information to Smartworks Docupace. You will assist the Financial Advisor in marketing activities, utilize MarketingCentral, and maintain the client relationship management database. Establishing and maintaining customer files and helping the Financial Advisor prepare for audits will also be part of your duties.
