About the position

The Assistant to the Branch Financial Leader at Classic Industrial Services plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the Mesa, AZ branch. This position focuses on monitoring job costs, preparing billing summaries, and tracking commissions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Job Costs for Labor and Material for billing preparation
  • Prepare billing/invoicing summaries for corporate billing team
  • Track and Calculate Commissions for Payouts/Reconciliation
  • Review WIP (Work In Progress) report to avoid Under Billings
  • Assist with Expense Reports for reimbursement
  • Ensure authorizations for Job Costs are obtained in accordance with policy
  • Perform other miscellaneous office duties as necessary

Requirements

  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel
  • 2+ years of related Office experience
  • Experience in Construction industry preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
