The Assistant to the Executive Vice President and CFO plays a crucial role in providing direct administrative support to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within the Finance and Administration Division. This position is designed to assist the EVP in managing their daily responsibilities effectively, ensuring that critical priorities are addressed promptly. The assistant will help streamline the EVP's workload, allowing them to focus on strategic issues that are vital to the organization’s success. Key responsibilities include maintaining the EVP's calendar, organizing travel plans, and managing correspondence. The assistant will prepare and distribute meeting agendas and materials, take minutes during meetings, and support the EVP with special projects that may involve research, data gathering, and preparing executive summaries. Additionally, the assistant will assist with budget requests and documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and regional regulatory reporting requirements. This role also involves coordinating the annual audits and managing vendor scheduling to optimize resource use. Handling confidential matters with discretion is essential, as the assistant will interact with various departments within the Finance and Administration division and across the college.
