About the position

The Executive Assistant role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is a pivotal position that provides direct support to the Group GM of the Connectivity, Broadband & Networking (CBN) Business Unit. This role requires a highly organized and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for sophisticated calendar management, prioritizing inquiries and requests, and troubleshooting conflicts related to external engagements such as board meetings and high-profile events. The ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes and keep stakeholders informed is essential. In addition to calendar management, the Executive Assistant will manage complex travel arrangements, including both domestic and international travel on commercial and private flights. The role encompasses a broad range of administrative tasks, such as maintaining contact lists, completing expense reports, and handling general administrative responsibilities. The Executive Assistant will also serve as a key point of contact for internal and external constituencies, managing highly confidential matters and exercising sound judgment in decision-making. The position also involves leading and collaborating on various projects, including organizing SharePoint sites and coordinating events for the Bay Area site. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the CBN Business Unit and requires a proactive approach to support the executive leader and the team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for CBN Group GM, prioritizing inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts.
  • Manage travel schedule, including booking and managing complex domestic and international travel.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining contact lists and completing expense reports.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Group GM, exercising judgment to reflect GM's style and organization policy.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects such as organizing SharePoint sites and coordinating Bay Area site events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience, OR
  • Associate's degree and 6+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience, OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of related experience in an executive assistant role supporting Executive or C-Level executives at a Fortune 500 company preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience with international travel.
