Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar technical degree.
• 8-12 years of experience in the land development industry, focusing on design, entitlements, and construction.
• Strong self-starter with a high level of drive and initiative.
• Strong analytical ability and organizational skills.
• Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Vice President in managing multiple brownfield industrial developments.
• Source, engage, and manage third-party consultants including planners, surveyors, engineers, and architects.
• Report, track, and manage key contract milestones to achieve development objectives.
• Develop and manage project budgets, prepare RFPs, and develop schedules and bids for contractor selections.
• Collaborate with the finance team for accurate cost analysis and underwriting of projects.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in site design and construction.
• Support collaboration with outside development partners including construction managers and joint venture partners.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure project conformance with design plans.
• Assist with communication with local, county, and state government officials.
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of departmental strategic initiatives.
