About the position

The Assistant Vice President of Financial Evaluations is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support across the organization. This role involves conducting in-depth financial analyses related to internal business projects, client product design, external partnerships, and acquisitions. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including Product Development, Business Development, IT, Legal, and external investment banking teams, to evaluate industry valuations of targeted acquisitions. Additionally, the AVP will assist in developing long-range strategic plans and monitor the financial performance of investments, while owning the annual and long-range capital plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures including diligence, modeling, and valuation
  • Collaborate on Senior Executive and Board-level summaries and presentations to facilitate decision making
  • Drive reporting and analysis for integration initiatives including the creation and distribution of metrics and financials to ensure project obligations are on track regarding synergies and costs
  • Own the annual and long-range capital plan and ensure a tight alignment with Prime's strategy
  • Provide strong leadership to develop and coach direct reports and other team members in their professional development
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
  • 12 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting roles with 3-5 years of Mergers & Acquisitions
  • 8 years of leadership/people management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that translate well with all levels including Senior Management and Board
  • Familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles, including US GAAP
  • Organization and attention to details
