About the position

The Assistant Vice President in the Personal Lines department at Momentous Insurance is responsible for delivering high-quality service to clients, managing a team, and driving sales through new coverage and cross-selling within the existing book of business. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to customers.
• Sell new lines of coverage and cross-sell within the existing book of business.
• Manage a team of support staff responsible for processing transactions.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the insurance company and clients.
• Guide and oversee the team to ensure effective workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Develop and track annual business goals to increase sales and retention of book value.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of work output and workflows of the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the insurance field (15-20 years preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong follow-up skills and results-oriented mindset.
• Sound problem-solving skills and good judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and integrity.

Nice-to-haves

• College Degree preferred (high school diploma required).
• Current California Department of Insurance License.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with agency management system, Applied EPIC.
