About the position

The Assistant Vice President - Private Equity Health Solutions Account Executive at Aon is responsible for developing and implementing total rewards strategies and benefits consulting for small and mid-market clients. This hybrid role involves frequent interaction with clients' HR, Benefits, and Finance executives, leading client service teams, and promoting Aon's value through effective service and consultation. The position requires a deep understanding of the Health and Benefits marketplace and aims to retain and grow a profitable book of business.

Responsibilities

• Develop employee benefits strategies and lead sophisticated benefits consulting projects.
• Manage vendors and develop client reports.
• Lead external meetings and coordinate internal resources.
• Maintain and grow long-term client relationships through excellent service.
• Exhibit thought leadership and articulate ideas to clients.
• Assist with client acquisitions and benefit integrations.
• Ensure overall account profitability by arranging Aon compensation for services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Health and Benefits background.
• 5+ years of benefits consulting/brokerage experience.
• Client-facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, or brokerage in the Health and Benefits discipline.
• Business development experience.
• Broad business knowledge/perspective.
• Team building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Working understanding of the Private Equity industry is preferred.
