About the position

The Assistant Vice President, Software Implementation at WSP USA will lead the Digital Solutions Team in delivering software solutions for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) needs. This role involves working with diverse clients, managing technical project teams, and ensuring high-quality implementations that meet client requirements. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to obtain technical details for configuration.
  • Interpret customer compliance requirements and develop technical specifications for configuration.
  • Provide feedback for improving existing business processes.
  • Configure software according to design specifications.
  • Verify configurations through end-to-end system testing and provide resolutions.
  • Develop documentation for quantitative testing and verification of results.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using software tools.
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data between systems.
  • Demonstrate software functionality to customers in various settings.
  • Assist in developing integration specifications and testing.
  • Deliver training and technical documentation for customers and project teams.
  • Develop test scripts and support customers through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment activities.
  • Drive project timelines and deliverables, ensuring effective communication.
  • Support customer account teams during post-deployment activities.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior personnel.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to ensure client delivery and company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with information software platforms or in environmental compliance, safety management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical mindset with sound judgment in evaluating situations.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for articulating complex data.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for technical knowledge application.
  • Self-leadership with attention to detail and results orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety policies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various schedules and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Experience with large data sets and spreadsheets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
  • Certifications in Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, or Project Management.
  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience with software packages like Enablon, Intelex, Cority, etc.
