About the position

The Assistant Vice President, Software Implementation at WSP USA will support the global Digital Solutions Team by leading technical project teams and developing software solutions for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) needs. This role involves interacting with clients, configuring software, conducting testing, and providing training, all while ensuring high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to obtain technical details for configuration.
  • Interpret customer compliance requirements and develop technical specifications.
  • Provide feedback for improving existing business processes.
  • Configure software according to design specifications.
  • Verify configurations through end-to-end system testing.
  • Develop documentation for quantitative testing.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using software tools.
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data between systems.
  • Demonstrate software functionality to customers.
  • Assist in developing integration specifications and testing.
  • Deliver training and technical documentation for users.
  • Develop test scripts and support customers during UAT.
  • Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment.
  • Drive project timelines and deliverables, ensuring communication.
  • Support customer account teams post-deployment.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior personnel.
  • Manage internal and external relationships for client delivery.
  • Uphold ethical decision-making regarding company resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with information software platforms or related fields.
  • Strong analytical mindset and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and results orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and lead junior team members.
  • Proven track record of workplace safety adherence.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various schedules and responsibilities.
  • Experience with large data sets and spreadsheets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
  • Certifications in Data Science, Information Management, or Project Management.
  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience with software packages like Enablon, Intelex, Cority, etc.
