About the position

The Assistant Vice President, Software Implementation at WSP USA will play a crucial role in supporting the global Digital Solutions Team. This position involves working with a diverse range of internal and external clients to solve complex requirements, lead technical project teams, and develop software solutions for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) sectors. The role includes identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, implementing software solutions, and representing WSP at external events to ensure quality service delivery to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to obtain technical details required for configuration.
  • Interpret customer compliance requirements and business processes to develop technical specifications.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving existing business processes.
  • Configure software per design specifications and verify configurations through thorough testing.
  • Develop detailed documentation for quantitative testing and design reports and dashboards.
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from one system to another.
  • Demonstrate software configuration and functionality to customers.
  • Assist in the development of integration specifications and testing.
  • Deliver training and technical documentation for customer and project team use.
  • Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets and troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment.
  • Drive tasks and support project timelines, deliverables, and communication.
  • Provide leadership oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to junior personnel.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to ensure client delivery and company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience with information software platforms or in environmental permitting, compliance, or related fields.
  • Well-developed analytical mindset and sound judgement in evaluating situations.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and results orientation in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety policies.
  • Flexibility to meet business needs and adapt to changes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.
  • Certifications related to Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, or Project Management.
  • Bilingual (English and additional language).
  • Experience with software packages like Enablon, Intelex, Cority, etc.
