About the position

The Assistant Vice President, Vulnerability Analytics at AIG is responsible for leading the analytics and reporting functions within the Business Services Delivery (BSD) division of the Information Security Office (ISO). This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive global strategy that aligns with the ISO strategy and organizational goals, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with industry standards. The position requires strategic thinking, collaboration with IT teams, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy aligned with ISO strategy and organizational goals.
  • Drive AIG's information security strategy through integration of business applications with ISO solutions.
  • Provide technical and operational support for specialized applications and systems.
  • Design, develop, and lead initiatives through full lifecycle, including analysis and configuration functions.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements and implementation plans.
  • Lead the definition of architecture and process standards for the software security scorecard platform.
  • Ensure software environments comply with relevant security standards and conduct regular audits.
  • Set guidance for measuring application security controls and provide performance metrics to senior management.
  • Contribute to evaluation, selection, and configuration of products and services from vendors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cybersecurity.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or CEH are a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience interpreting security product designs and business requirements.
  • Subject matter expertise in developing best practices for standardized management of controls.
  • High-level proficiency in writing complex Microsoft SQL stored procedures and functions.
  • Experience with security vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tanium, Veracode, or similar.
  • Expert experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview and PowerBI.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and common security issues.
  • Experience managing vendors and driving SLA.
