About the position

The Assistant Virtual Branch Manager at Meriwest Credit Union is responsible for overseeing daily member care operations, guiding Member Care Specialists, and ensuring exceptional member service while achieving sales and service goals. This role involves leading a team, managing performance, and executing strategies to enhance the Virtual Branch's effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including sales production and member satisfaction.
• Lead a team of Advice Specialists through effective leadership practices.
• Meet assigned referral goals for share, deposit, lending, and partner referrals.
• Coach and train the Virtual Branch team to cross-sell products and services.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on employee engagement and development.
• Develop and execute key strategies for the Virtual Branch.

Requirements

• Minimum four years' banking or financial services experience.
• Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Two years' experience in a call center (preferred).
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
• Broad knowledge of financial institution operations, products, and applicable laws.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative selling techniques.
• Ability to lead and supervise team members to achieve results.
