About the position

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling and distribution of goods with a focus on accuracy and productivity. This role includes supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and assisting with warehouse organization, while also being available to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and coordinating warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Schedule incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Schedule daily deliveries.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing policies and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve any logistics or inventory issues.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in scheduling freight (required).
  • Valid Driver's License (required).
