About The Position

The Assisted Living Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility at Bartram Lakes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while providing exceptional care and service to residents. This role involves strategic planning, staff management, and maintaining high standards of patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' progressive leadership experience in senior living, nursing home, or healthcare field.
  • Professional and articulate with good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive working environment with open communication and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Advanced conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and function as an effective change agent.
  • Demonstrated leadership approach with integrity, mutual respect, accountability, and collaboration.
  • ALF Florida licensure required; must be Florida ALF Core trained and certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility in coordination with the Aging Services Division.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding operations and care standards.
  • Identify and develop policies and standards of care, maintaining procedures in accordance with guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain an operating plan and budget with fiscal responsibility.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment to meet quality standards and metrics.
  • Regularly report performance indicators to senior leadership.
  • Maintain the organization's image and values in all operations and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for marketing outreach, occupancy growth, revenue growth, and quality of services.
  • Coordinate employee hiring, review, and performance development processes with Human Resources.
  • Develop policies and procedures for resident care and ensure accountability in resident and family council meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of care for residents and coordinate move-ins with staff.
  • Ensure vendors meet stated objectives and performance standards.
  • Interact with senior executives and Board members regarding operations and performance indicators.
