About the position

The Assisted Living Director (LALD) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a senior living community. This position focuses on enhancing the lives of seniors by fostering a supportive environment, coordinating activities, and ensuring high-quality care. The director will lead a dedicated team, engage with residents and their families, and build positive relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations alongside the Executive Director.
  • Foster a warm, supportive environment for residents and their families.
  • Coordinate activities and events to promote engagement and well-being.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders and the wider community.
  • Oversee staff training, performance and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic approach to resident care.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
  • Flexible availability and minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role.
  • LALD preferred (support available to obtain this license).
