About the position
The Assisted Living Director (LALD) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a senior living community. This position focuses on enhancing the lives of seniors by fostering a supportive environment, coordinating activities, and ensuring high-quality care. The director will lead a dedicated team, engage with residents and their families, and build positive relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations alongside the Executive Director.
- Foster a warm, supportive environment for residents and their families.
- Coordinate activities and events to promote engagement and well-being.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders and the wider community.
- Oversee staff training, performance and development initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathetic approach to resident care.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
- Flexible availability and minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role.
- LALD preferred (support available to obtain this license).
