About the position

The Assisted Living Sales Counselor at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek is responsible for driving sales and occupancy in the Residential Assisted Living and Memory Support areas. This role involves managing the sales process, engaging with prospective residents and their families, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and effective communication regarding bed availability and referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the community's AL sales process and provide customers with community-related information via personal visits, assessments, and follow-up.
  • Meet or exceed company sales metrics by engaging with prospective new residents and closing the tour process.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Sales, Executive Director, and Nursing Care management team regarding bed availability.
  • Ensure timely communication with sub-acute and Return to Home referrals to convert them to AL depositors.
  • Complete follow-up on all tours, leads, and open inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the admission packet is completed by incoming residents or responsible parties and executed by the Executive Director or Health Services Administrator.
  • Conduct external marketing to referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate data input in customer relationship management software.
  • Participate in creating and managing the strategic AL marketing and sales plan.
  • Complete weekly lead status and available inventory updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or marketing with at least two years of experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in healthcare marketing and/or Assisted Living sales, case management, or long-term care.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care protocols in a long-term care market preferred.
