About the position

The Graphic Design Assistant will be helping to design emails, marketing materials, social media assets, and create engaging content. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects at any given time. You will work within a team environment that is heavily focused on collaboration to stay on target with strategy and quality standards. In this role, you will assist with design requests from internal and external sources and work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet marketing strategies and business goals. You will execute a variety of graphic design tasks, including creating visual concepts and designs for marketing materials, digital content, and brand collateral. Collaboration with the marketing team is essential to develop engaging visual content for various platforms, ensuring all visuals align with our brand identity. Your responsibilities will also include designing visually appealing and effective email marketing materials, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all communications, scheduling and managing the content calendar for timely marketing campaigns, managing digital signage, and providing miscellaneous design support. You will also be responsible for editing videos, pictures, audio, and text, and presenting a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of graphic design skills, showcasing previous work in digital and print media. Exhibiting excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and project management, along with strong organizational abilities to handle multiple projects concurrently, is crucial. You should be able to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a team, contributing to a collaborative creative process. Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all design work, coupled with a commitment to meet project deadlines, is essential.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in graphic design, with additional skills in content creation, email marketing, and a basic understanding of photography and video production.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to work on PC computers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with website design and management is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Photography skills a plus but not mandatory.
  • WordPress knowledge a plus but not required.
