About the position

The Associate Actuarial Analyst position at Molina Healthcare is a remote role based in Florence, Kentucky, focused on estimating liabilities, establishing premium rates, and conducting financial analysis and reporting. This role is crucial in supporting the development of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) estimates and rate adequacy studies, which are essential for the financial health of the organization. In this position, the analyst will document assumptions and analyze results to identify early signs of trends or issues related to medical care costs. The role involves performing actuarial studies that relate to medical care costs and trends, generating and distributing routine reports to support IBNR calculations, pricing, and financial reporting. The analyst will also extract and compile information from various systems to support executive decision-making and will be tasked with developing reports and analyses for senior management, effectively communicating the results of their findings. This position requires a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or economics, as well as the ability to work with complex data sets and provide insights that can influence strategic decisions within the company. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
  • Must have passed at least 1 actuarial exam
  • 0-1 Year of relevant experience
