About the position

In this position, the analyst will document assumptions made during the estimation process and analyze results to identify early signs of trends or issues related to medical care costs. The role involves performing actuarial studies that provide insights into medical care costs and trends, which are vital for strategic decision-making. The analyst will also generate and distribute routine reports that support IBNR calculations, pricing strategies, and financial reporting, ensuring that senior management has access to accurate and timely information. Additionally, the Associate Actuarial Analyst will extract and compile information from various systems to support executive decision-making. This includes developing comprehensive reports and analyses that effectively communicate results to senior management, thereby facilitating informed decisions that align with the company's financial objectives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
  • Must have passed at least 1 actuarial exam
  • 0-1 Year of relevant experience

  • Internship experience of 2 years
