The Associate Actuarial Analyst position at Molina Healthcare is a remote role based in Covington, Kentucky, focused on estimating liabilities, establishing premium rates, and conducting financial analysis and reporting. This role is crucial in supporting the development of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) estimates and conducting rate adequacy studies, which are essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization. In this position, the analyst will document assumptions and analyze results to identify early signs of trends or issues related to medical care costs. The role involves performing actuarial studies that relate to these costs and trends, generating and distributing routine reports that support IBNR calculations, pricing, and financial reporting. The Associate Actuarial Analyst will also extract and compile information from various systems to aid in executive decision-making and will support the development of reports and analyses for senior management, ensuring effective communication of results. Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the IBNR estimates and rate adequacy studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
  • Must have passed at least 1 actuarial exam
  • 0-1 Year of relevant experience
