About the position

As an Associate Art Director at Disney's Yellow Shoes, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and conceptual ideas for Disney Parks and Resorts. This role emphasizes collaboration with a talented team, problem-solving, and creative thinking across various advertising mediums, particularly in social and digital formats. You will be expected to produce compelling creative materials while learning and honing your craft in a supportive environment that values creativity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with an Associate Copywriter to deliver compelling ideas.
• Craft innovative conceptual ideas that successfully answer briefs across social, digital, and traditional work.
• Focus on the Disney Springs line of business, creating strong retail creative that is on trend and fashion-forward.
• Participate in creative briefings and decipher the needs of assignments.
• Deliver projects on schedule, meeting deadlines.
• Produce polished and well-designed creative materials for internal and external presentations under mentorship.
• Take direction from senior creatives to meet their expectations.
• Contribute technical skills in crafting motion graphics and simple video edits for social platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in an agency setting or related experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of After Effects, 3D, and other editing software is a plus.
• Experience in ideating in the digital and social space.
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Outstanding design and comping skills.
• Proficient in presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides).
• Strong eye for design, typography, and photography with attention to detail.
