About the position

The Associate Director of Accounts Receivable at RTX Corporation is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the Business Services Order to Cash Commercial Team. This position involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective billing, collections, and cash application processes. The successful candidate will lead a geographically distributed team, implement new strategies, and drive transformational projects while managing competing priorities and ensuring seamless integration of services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance of the commercial billing, collections, and cash application team, focusing on development, training, and career growth.
  • Collaborate with key leaders in the Businesses to ensure seamless integration of services into the Order to Cash organization.
  • Implement new strategies and processes to improve existing and newly established practices.
  • Influence others within Order to Cash and the Businesses to harmonize practices and policies.
  • Identify risks and resolve problems associated with key deliverables of projects.
  • Manage competing priorities by balancing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex customer challenges in a timely manner.
  • Drive change management and communicate major projects and activities.
  • Monitor organizational health through reports, analytics, and key performance indicators.
  • Support audit and control discussions as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a directly related degree.
  • 12 years of directly related professional experience; OR 10 years of experience and an advanced degree in a large corporate finance or accounting setting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial billing, collections, and cash applications.
  • Prior experience leading and developing teams.
